The Sheboygan A's posted a Wisconsin State League doubleheader victory at Janesville on Saturday. With 4-2 and 6-4 victories, the A's improved to 2-1 in the league and 6-1 overall.

The Sheboygan A’s posted a Wisconsin State League doubleheader victory at Janesville on Saturday.

With 4-2 and 6-4 victories, the A’s improved to 2-1 in the league and 6-1 overall.

Sheboygan plays its home opener Monday night against the Menasha Macs in a Northeastern Wisconsin League game. Gamet ime is 7:30, but beginning at about 7:15 the club will hold a mortgage burning ceremony, followed by an awards presentation. Mayor Bob Ryan will throw out the first pitch.

Tyler Jones went five innings to earn his second victory of the year in the opening game. Lucas Petrie came on to get the save. Tim Patzman led the offense with a single, double and triple.

In game two, winning pitcher Gabe Marshall recorded the A’s first complete game of the season. Matt Schilter had two RBI.
