Rain Delay Can’t Stop A’s, Defeat Dodgers 3-2

The game between De Pere and Sheboygan was tied 1-1 when a rain delay halted the game as it headed to the fifth. The A's ended up winning 3-2, with two home runs.

SHEBOYGAN, WI – The A’s won a close match-up Friday after a slight rain delay.

The Dodgers came to play Friday hitting two doubles in the first inning and scoring a run.

The A’s answered back, scoring a run to tie the game.

In the fourth Cole Miklavcic homered to give the A’s a 2-1 lead.

The Dodgers tied the game at 2-2 in the seventh, but Josh Moses took the games for the A’s hitting a solo homerun.

Taylor Schwarz took the win for the A’s pitching seven innings, giving up two runs, seven hits and striking out five.

Evan Sigmund took the loss for the Dodgers pitching four innings, giving up one run, five hits and striking out five.
