Sheboygan defeats West Allis on their home field

Sheboygan gets their first win over West Allis.

Sheboygan A’s 7, West Allis Nationals 1

The Sheboygan A’s went to West Allis Thursday night and came away with a 7-1 victory. Brad Rindfleisch, who started on the mound for Sheboygan, pitched five innings, striking out eight and walking none. Drew Nuanes, Eric Schmitz and Jacob Bonin all pitched in relief to secure the victory. The only run Rindfleisch gave up was a solo home run in the fourth inning to Aaron Goecks. Kyle Peterson, JJ Zywiciel, Jake Arens, Harry Steldt and Mark Wanner all contributed hits in the A’s big 6-run third inning that pushed them to a comfortable lead. Each team tallied a run in the fourth. West Allis committed three errors in the game.
