Sheboygan A’s 9 – 7 Addison Braves, Sheboygan A’s 13 – 4 Addison Braves

Addison Braves stayed in it until the end, but Sheboygan A’s pulled away late in a 9-7 victory in the first game Sunday. The game was tied at seven with The A’s batting in the top of the ninth when Harry Steldt homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The A’s scored three runs in the fourth inning. Josh Gates, Steldt, and Logan Vietmeier powered the big inning with RBIs. Ben Folger was credited with the victory for The A’s. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out one and walking zero.

The Braves had a tough time generating runs in the second game Sunday, dropping it 13-4. The A’s pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Alex Dee and Logan Vietmeier singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Jimmy Juergensen homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs. The A’s scored five runs in the fourth inning. Dee, Hayden Smith, and Cole Miklavcic each had RBIs in the big inning. Kyle Peterson led things off on the hill for The A’s. He lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out three.
