West Allis Nationals 14 – 1 Burlington Barons

The West Allis Nationals had everything working on Tuesday, winning big over The Burlington Barons 14-1. West Allis got things started in the first inning. Aaron Goecks drove in one when he doubled. West Allis tallied four runs in the second inning. West Allis offense in the inning came from a home run by Jack Thelen, a groundout by Goecks, and a fielder’s choice by Jonah Meidl. Ben Ellifson was credited with the victory for West Allis. He surrendered one run on three hits over five innings, striking out six. Rob Zolecki threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Lombard Orioles 11 – 0 Kenosha Kings

The Lombard Orioles defeated The Kenosha Kings 11-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Scott Tucker induced a double-play from Johnny Belskis to finish off the game. Lombard got on the board in the first inning. Lombard scored one run when Ryan-Lin Peistrup singled. Lombard put up four runs in the third inning. Lombard big bats were led by Josh Figueroa and KC Simonich, all driving in runs in the frame. One bright spot for Kenosha was a double by Alex Rodriguez in the first inning. Niko Klebosits was credited with the victory for Lombard. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over four innings, striking out four. Tucker threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
