Sheboygan take lead late in the game to secure the win over De Pere

Sheboygan A’s 10 – 7 De Pere Dodgers

The Sheboygan A’s defeated The De Pere Dodgers 10-7 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at seven with Sheboygan batting in the bottom of the eighth when Logan Vietmeier doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Sheboygan was boosted by Jake Falish who went 4-for-5 at the plate. Falish singled in the first, doubled in the fourth, singled in the seventh, and doubled in the eighth.
Ben Folger earned the win for Sheboygan. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Jacob Bonin threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Sheboygan tallied 17 hits on the day. Falish, Harry Steldt, Josh Gates, Vietmeier, and Alex Dee each racked up multiple hits for Sheboygan. Falish went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Sheboygan in hits. Sheboygan was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Dee had the most chances in the field with nine.
