WSL Monday Recap: WSL Teams Go Winless on Monday

The Lombard Orioles and Sheboygan A's both dropped non-WSL contests on Monday night.

Menasha Macs 10, Sheboygan A’s 0

The
Mensha MACs, champions of the Northeastern Wisconsin League for the
past two years because they beat the Sheboygan A’s in the Championship
playoffs both years, beat the A’s again Monday night. This time by a
10-run mercy rule 10-0 score at Menasha’s Koslo Park.

Menasha: 10 runs, 11 hits, 0 errors.
Sheboygan: 0 runs, 2 hits, 5 errors

Adam Grambow hit a 2-run home run in the first inning and the MACs
never looked back. Tony Lamer and Jason Wierschke dominated the A’s. In
fact Lamers had a no-hitter going for 5 2/3 Innings.

“We were mauled, no doubt about that,” A’s GM Denny Moyer said. “We
talked things over after the game and I think we’re on the same page
now. We all have some work to do.”
