Nationals Win Season Opener

The West Allis Nationals plated runs in seven of eight innings en route to a 10-2 victory over the Kewaskum A's Thursday at Harvey Kuenn Field in West Allis.

The West Allis Nationals plated runs in seven of eight innings en route to a 10-2 victory over the Kewaskum A’s Thursday at Harvey Kuenn Field in
West Allis.

Adam Karas and Matt Richer led the offense with three hits each; the
offense produced 13 on the night. Karas and Paul Archambault both
knocked in three runs.

Jim Jungbauer toed the rubber for the first four
innings, striking out five and allowing no earned runs. Bob Herrick, Curt
Pryal, Aaron Woods and
Kyle Kinzler provided scoreless relief, striking out eight.

Next up for the Nationals are the three-time defending Land O Lakes
champion Pewaukee Muskies on Saturday at Monches Park, west of
Germantown on Hwy Q. First pitch is set for 1pm.
