The Sheboygan A's beat the Oshkosh Giants on Wednesday 15-2 at Wildwood Baseball Park, Sheboygan, WI in seven innings.

The Sheboygan A’s beat the Oshkosh Giants on Wednesday 15-2 at Wildwood Baseball Park, Sheboygan, WI in seven innings.

The A’s scored seven runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Wyatt Olson, an RBI single by Taylor Grimm, a two-run error, an RBI single by Harry Steldt, and a two-run double by Mitch Sutton.

Cole Heili racked up three RBIs on two hits for Sheboygan A’s.

Brandon Winfield struck out nine, paving the way for an A’s win. Winfield allowed no earned runs on two hits and three walks over six innings.

Austin Halverson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed 13 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out four.

The A’s never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring four runs on a sacrifice fly by Steldt and a three-run triple by Heili.

Two the Oshkosh Giants runs crossed the plate in the top half of the third, making the score 5-2. A two-run error set off the Oshkosh Giants rally. The A’s stopped the rally after Winfield got Paul Mutch to strike out.
