The Lombard Orioles open play Thursday in Farmingdale, NY, in the first round of the American Amateur Baseball Congress Stan Musial division. The Orioles (55-7) will face Albany in the opening game at 1 p.m..

The Orioles are competing in their 18th season under head coach Jeff Vukovich. The Orioles won the national title in 2007.
